First post! I really needed a hobby and I thought this would be fun! A whole year of my life in pictures...should be interesting. I figured I'd start with a picture of the kitties. Anyone who knows me knows they've been a huge part of my life for a long time. I'm pretty sure they'll be the subject of many posts to come!

Thanks! That's Obie. In a short while he's going to be shaved and that picture will most surely make this blog! Ha!
Obie's gorgeous! Well, they both are, but Obie looks an awful lot like my old fluffy cat, Teddy. She got shaved once, too!
They are both so pretty!! The gray and white one has such a cute face.

Because he has big hairballs all over his body! He bites and kicks me when I try to brush them out, and frankly, they're beyond help.
Ok, *how* do you shave a cat? Mine wouldn't let me near them with clippers. After you shave him, buy yourself a medium size Furminator (http://www.furminator.com). Seriously.
You pay £62 to the vet to have them slightly sedated, then shaved. My friend sent me a link with cat sweaters on it. Hilarious! I'll definitely get a FURminator. Looks amazing!
