What, not love the twitching lace curtains? Whyever not?! (she shudders as she looks out her MIL's window with lace curtains!)
It's usually old people who have them, isn't it?
You'd hope so, but I do fear that there are some young people who can't let go of the look.
North of the border (at least) we call them 'nets'. I can also confirm that at least in one street in Glasgow, they're called 'hoor's knickers'!
