I bought some new clothes this past weekend. Here's to hoping it's actually warm enough to wear them! If you look hard enough you'll see a red and white skirt that was purchased last summer in the US. It's never been worn.

I'll confess, I took this picture this weekend. BUT! I love these purple flowers hanging on the walls everywhere. You can imagine I see them quite a bit on my bus ride. I've been meaning to take a picture of them, I just haven't been up close and personal with them like I was with this bunch.

After staring lovingly at me, Wes's second favorite thing to do is read the paper.

I hit the motherload of US magazines at the Borders in Bristol! I have been DYING for a People magazine. See the little yellow and white sticker under Rob Lowe? That means it's an American import. See the price on the sticker? Yeah, £3.25. That's $6.50 for one magazine. I had to stop myself with these two, but I couldn't believe the selection! Cooking Light...US Weekly....Southern Living....O....the list goes on and on. I was in heaven!

Wes sent me TWO things of Jif Peanut Butter, so I was able to make peanut butter cookies! Yum!

I drove in England for the very first time on Saturday! Woohoo!!!

I wore this turtleneck sweater on April 17th. That is just wrong.

Sorry, I didn't want to continue with the bus theme, but I was chuffed that I managed to get this shot without anyone seeing and thinking I was totally crazy. I'm super anal when I'm on the bus. Well, actually only with the seat I sit in. When I get on the bus I always go for this seat. See the yellow line?? That means it's the wheel well and my short legs will be propped up nicely. Since I'm one of the first people on the bus in the morning and after work, I almost always get it. Problems arise when I ride with Wes. His long legs can't handle the wheel well. Thankfully, I think our relationship will overcome this.

Stupid internet at home! I wasn't able to log on last night to post my picture of the day. This picture was taken yesterday. It's from Millenium Square in Bristol. Really, nothing screams 2000 like a big mirrored ball. Sorry it's not more artsy. I didn't have a lot of time since I was, you guessed it, running for the bus.

First post! I really needed a hobby and I thought this would be fun! A whole year of my life in pictures...should be interesting. I figured I'd start with a picture of the kitties. Anyone who knows me knows they've been a huge part of my life for a long time. I'm pretty sure they'll be the subject of many posts to come!
