Too much of this (at home and work) has made my wrist hurt so I went to the GP today. He told me I have a hurt wrist and I should see a doctor. Gee thanks! I've been referred to a physio but I'm not holding out hope I'll get to see anyone before I leave the country!

Starting to think about the gift registry!

This is the view from our front window. I don't think we would mind this trampoline so much if the kid actually used it. I've seen it on him twice and it's been there for oh, five months!

I went out for a meal tonight with some friends. I was going to take a picture of me in my 'going out' outfit, then I realized this outfit was identical to my 'going to work' outfit. The only difference was the pink lip gloss I decided to wear. My wardrobe is pathetic.

Batteries died in the camera just as I went to take my picture! It was going to be of the lovely sunset we had tonight too. I was very bummed!

This is what happens when there isn't a chicken in sight at the grocery store! I threw my dinner away because it was gross. I don't know how you vegetarians do it. I prefer 'meatfull, real-chicken pieces'.

One of the hideous post-war buildings in Bristol. There are too many of these to count. It's my view when I'm waiting for the bus after the gym.

When I first moved to England I found the street lights creepy and not effective. I was nervous when I was out after dark (which could be 5pm) because they cast an eerie glow. I still find them creepy and not effective, but I will go out after dark now!

It's all a bit overwhelming!

This is a spider in our back garden. She was furiously working on her web today and I'm surprised it's not blurry. I took a few pictures, but I picked this one because you can actually see which row she was working on. I actually don't mind spiders, but taking a picture of one made me nervous. I'm glad she didn't jump on me when I was doing it!

Living in Bath means you can take touristy pictures and no one thinks you're weird. These ladies were being filmed in front of the Abbey, probably for some promo video.

This is the only tree on my walk to the bus stop with leaves that have started changing. No buses of leaf peepers are clogging up our road! The fall season is one of the things I really miss from home.

I miss you Honda Civic! I look longingly at your English counterparts dreaming of the day I'll have another one. Especially days like today when the bus never shows up and I have to take the crap one instead.

Dublin at 4:30am. Being awake at this time should be illegal!

This is on Ryanair's emergency card. I understand no high heels, I could even let the no dangly jewelery pass(although, who's going to pull that off in an emergency), but no glasses and no DENTURES??? What the heck!!!??? I'd prefer if the legally blind people keep their glasses on as we try to evacuate and I think people with dentures should still be allowed to chew if necessary! I wouldn't be surprised if they start charging people with dentures an extra surcharge....

Wes ran the Bristol Half Marathon. His face looks deformed because the night before he had an allergic reaction to some ibuprofen. The swelling had actually gone down, but the running made his face swell back up again. This is at about mile 12. Even after all that and with a janky calf, he still managed to do it in 1:30:33!

Between these guys, the snails, and the dog poop it's like walking through a mine field to get to the bus stop!

The sun was actually out this morning when I left for work. It scared me a little bit. No worries...it was raining again when I came home! On the plus side, the grass is radioactive green because of all the rain!

An action shot from inside my new umbrella. This rain is so depressing.

This house in Bath has a vine that turns a really beautiful red color in the fall. Yes, it's fall here people. I actually passed it twice today on the bus and both times we were traveling at mach speed. Since these are the only pictures I took today, this is what you get. I like to think of it, not as washed out and blurry, but as an abstract. Part of my blurry bus collection.

I had the perfect day to take a 365 picture. We met Caryn et al in Taunton for lunch and it was the perfect photo op. Well, I forgot my camera. So instead, you get a picture of my new umbrella. I have high hopes for this one! I haven't had this style since kindergarten when Stacey Klinger and Duckie Howell got in a fight at the bus stop and broke my strawberry one! Hopefully there aren't any fights at my new bus stop!

It was a crazy Friday night around our place.

I couldn't face going back downstairs and taking a picture of my failed attempt at ice cream. So instead you get a picture of my bedside table. This is what your bedside table looks like when you smash your entire life into one room. I'd say the two most noteworthy things are the red strap from a piece of luggage I haven't used in, oh, 3 months? In fact, the strap's never been used since it still has the original wrapping around it. The other thing is the remote control for a TV that isn't plugged in. I only use the TV to watch the (very) occasional DVD. Oh, and the remote doesn't work for the DVD player. This means it's useless.

If Wes and I get our shit together we may go to this on Saturday. I don't know. We're pretty lazy.
